Locolab

The Low Cost Laboratory for ICT in education (or Locolab) is a program of the Open Institute. It is a research program to find low cost computer solutions for the Cambodian education system. It's an integral part of the Open Schools Program.

Currently the Locolab has two people who are working on it:

Bart Geesink is a Dutch system engineer and manager of the Locolab project.

Nicolas Le is a French engineer who is on a one year mission in Cambodia, sent by his employer Steria. He is currently placed at CIST. As an educational institution CIST is actively participating in the the Open Schools Program by contributing technical knowledge through Nicolas.
